By Alex Vazquez-Ozosta | USA TodayThe CTS Energy System Engineering team installed a new valve spring on a gas-fueled engine last week at the company’s new $1.2 billion Texas plant.
The spring was installed to allow the gas-driven engine to operate in a vacuum.
The gas-fired engine will be tested later this month.
The company’s gas-electric plant, which will be built in the Houston area, is slated to begin production in the second half of 2021.
